I am currently a Junior at the University of Notre Dame studying Finance and Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics. I am originally from Kolkata, India and came to the United States during my second semester of Freshman Year. I have previously worked as an Economic Advisory Intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers India. During this internship I worked on Water and Irrigation Public Expenditure Review projects with the World Bank. During this past summer I also worked at EY in Mumbai in Lead Advisory Team within Strategy and Transaction Division. A large part of my work included sourcing and business development exercises along with reading and summarizing industry reports. These experiences introduced me to working in a professional setting and allowed me to hone my research, analytical as well as my verbal and written communication skills. On-campus I have been a part of the Notre Dame Student Government, representing my dorm as its Senator and being a part of the Judicial Ethics Committee as well as the Department of Student Life, positions that allowed me to work close with University administration to improve student life. Other than that, I am also involved with the school’s investment club where I have presented recommendations for two stocks and am currently working on a third stock. I am also involved in the Student International Business Council on campus, a club that allows students an opportunity to take part in semester long projects related to investment banking, restructuring, and private equity. This past semester I was a part of the Evercore project where we studied the beauty industry and developed a strategic recommendation for Ulta Beauty Inc. I am also very interested in companies in their growth stage especially in the tech and healthcare industry. Some of the companies that I am currently following include Redox, Equian, Kaspi.kz, Karoooo, Cliq AG, Cerillion, and Fortinet.
